Pro Vintage Racing has nailed down two more huge sponsors for the upcoming Vintage Snowmobile Race Season. They just added to the list Quicksilver Oil Products (a division of Mercury Marine), and Skidoo BRP for a second season.

The race seasons major sponsors now include Newmans Manufacturing Sled Bed Trailers, Quicksilver Oil Products, Woodys Traction Products and also Stabil and BRP.

The historic race track in Ironwood, Michigan, Dec. 31-January 2nd will be sponsored by Woodys Traction products and Weyawega and Strums races will be sponsored by Quicksilver Oils and Fuel Care. "We’re thrilled to death to see companies of this magnitude backing vintage racing." Said PVR member Kurt Andrews. "We have a great show, and I think bigger and bigger sponsors are seeing the advantage of getting in front of these events" he continued.

Quicksilver Oils and Fuel Care, is donating $500 to the cup race winner in Weyawega (February 12th). The cup race there will be the 85 & older 340 liquid Super-Mod sleds. They threw in another $500 to be paid out in the 800cc Relic class which is the Cup race at Strum, Wisconsin on January 22. Winners at each of those 2 events for ALL PVR classes will get snowmobile oil/fuel care products. This makes over $4,000 in cash and prizes for winning PVR drivers at those events.

"Sponsorship has been very challenging this year with the economic times. I have worked with companies all year to try and get them on board and now as we get close to SHOW TIME, they are finding ways to work with us and want to be part of the vintage racing programs" says Vice president Kurt Krueger.

Listed above are the Major sponsors of the PVR organization for the 2011 season. There are many class sponsors and different levels of sponsorship. For the complete list go to
