:D. Loaded it up in the trailer tonight.  It's going back into the school shop with a whole new batch of students.  New rings we received as well as the motor from Doc.  let's see what they can do with it this year.

I had not looked at this yet.  But, this is the school district I live in, my daughter attends elementary school and my wife is a paraprofessional in.  Very neat project.

Please keep us current with pictures.  This is one of the most famous non snowmobiles on this site.  A very cool vehicle.

Looking for a piston head for the 372 fuji.  We have one with a blown face and one with a 3/4" gap on the ring lands.  Rear axle assembly pulled out and replacing the bearings.  Frame down to bare metal, also fixing a hole in the fiberglass bottom.  the class is only offered at certain times with an on-going process involving different groups every time.  Progress is slow with no piston head.

Lots of irons in the fire so sorry about no posts in awhile.

thats really cool. you guys are really going to drool. in my high school in n.h. we biult a polaris race sled in auto shop. we put a 1973 295 starfire motor in a 1974 colt chassis. removed the grill/ headlight ass'y. to make it kind of look like the starfire. wish i had that now. don't know what ever happened to it. going to do some reseach and see if i can find out. you wouldn't believe how much interest this created in that shop class. everyone worked on it. even turned some non snowmobiles into snowmobliers. keep up the good work.

Is this one of those topics that have died and gone to cyber space heaven?
Most of these kids who were working on it have graduated by now.
First post January 2012 last post is almost 2 years old  :o

So what ever happened to this star car. Did they ever finish it? Or sell it? Or would they sell it?
