1980-81 Enticer 300 Clutch Help
« on: July 01, 2021, 01:33:51 pm »
Does anyone have a good source for an Enticer 300 clutch parts such as spring, rollers, etc?
I believe my son's needs a rebuild or a good used clutch.  Last year we picked up the Enticer to bomb around town.  End of last year she would bog trying to get going unless on hard pack. It was fine at the beginning of the year.  I measured the width of the two belts and the old was definitely worn. Put a new belt on and that made it better, but didn't fix it entirely.  Any help is appreciated.

The Yamaha parts for their clutches are really expensive.
So I would say that it's better to buy a IBC Powerbloc clutch instead, new or used, I think that it will end up with less money than buying the YP-clutch parts that you need to get your clutch back in good shape again.

The Powerbloc is really simple to tune. And it has no rollers or bushings that wear out.
