Teamgreen,

I don't understand your recommendation. The BxES length plug is on the left and the BxHS is on the right. What you are recommending is replacing a Champion L78c with a N2C.

If the plugs you pulled out have 1/2 thread.   I would say your going to have to run the BHS.  If the plugs you pulled out have a 3/4 thread length.  Run the  BRES style.     Its been so long since I looked at that Rupp.  Maybe we did run B9HS.     Pretty much the standard on all the sleds is the BR9ES.   BR9EV is the new update of the BR9ES more for the EFI sleds.  You can run a BR9ES or BR9EV wont hurt anything if the sled calls for it.

    As far as I know,Rupp NEVER ran a 3/4" reach plug.Unless they did in 74-78 sleds,with the Kohler & Xenoah engines. Even the surface gap plugs in 73,were 1/2" reach.
