The 1996 service manual is showing air screw 1.75 turns for both carbs.

I get confused easily:
turning the air-fuel screw in, leans the motor out correct?

when you turn an air screw in you are blocking the air causing more fuel to enter the engine

Instead of metering the fuel, you're metering the air. In is less air, just like the jets on a Tilly would be less fuel. They just have the opposite affect on leave vs rick.
