    had a little time over christmas to work on the sled. blasted and painted some leaf springs and i put the motor together.

    spent friday night and most of saturday painting the hood. 3 coats of epoxy primer applied friday night. went back out saturday at 7:00 a.m. and wet sanded the primer with 180 grit, 240 grit and 320 grit. i then applied 3 coats of gloss black base coat about an hour apart. i then waited a few hours and applied 3 coats of clear coat. i will let it cure for a few days and will need to lightly buff out some orange peel.

    That looks great, that is one of my favorite parts is the painting, It looked like you did not have too much glass work on the hood that is nice..

    stock linkage, however this had a built in tank that i cut out. the steering support is homemade to fit a plastic tank.
