    i cleaned and dyed the seat and seat back today. 3 coats of s.e.m. red boat seat dye. the boat seat dye seems to hold its color better than the car seat dye. i forgot to take some pictures before but it has some stains and was faded.

    i set up my 2x2 and plastic sheeting paint booth today so i could get the tunnel painted. i have one fan blowing in and one blowing out, both with air filters duct taped on. i had primed it last month so i had to go over it with 320 grit to give the gloss black paint something to bite into.

    i spent a few hours after work today putting in the drivers, track and suspension so i can flip over the sled and finish painting the top side.

    i took the 290  ccw e - start  engine i will be using apart and bead blasted it today. i also took the starter apart and rebuilt that.

    What is going on with the wood in your rewind?  Is the wood just there to hold the spring temporarily or are you winding the spring?   Always looking for easier ways to wrestle those.  Interesting.
