Picked this up last fall, it had something fall on the nose of it! Everything was locked up including the motor!

Still have to have the seat made, seems to still have some carb issues(doesn't suck gas very well) but it does run! Made some "improvements" to it, all the motor mount and tranny bolts now will not fall down into track anymore! Improved the rod/throttle connection to carb I hope, made the rear hand rails removable so if you need to remove recoil you don't have to remove motor! hotdoo

I had a horrible time getting mine started. Always. That downward facing carb can be a pain. Seemed to have a hard time sucking fuel up into the engine. Once it's running it's all good, but that first fire could be a nuisance.

Nice! I've got one of those too, we really enjoy putting around in it. Do you know what your serial # is?

Dan I wouldn't bother with that thing...real pain in the butt. I hear there's a place in Wayland, Mich that's a free disposal for unwanted old sleds!

I've had the same issue. And the primer at the carb didn't help cause fuel would just run out the carb instead of getting into the cyl. I modified mine to inject fuel into the cylinder head. It's a one pull sled now. Check it out here in a vid.
