Well after getting it running good I could hear bearing noise. Decided to disassemble and check everything. All the bearings were rusted and bad. Sent the crank in to Northern Crank Shafts and they rebuilt it to new. All new bearings and rods. I have it assembled again and couldn't find the torque specs for the head cover. Torqued them to 17 ft pds. Does anyone know what the correct torque is for them?

First picture is what it looked like when I bought it. I have it all apart and cleaning and fixing anything that needs it now. I have a hood painted and decaled now and head light pod restored. A little more cleaning and things will be going back together. Pictures are crooked. Took them with my phone and when transfer them to computer they are at different angles. Sorry!

Looks really good. Nice job. Wanted an XCR bad back in the day, hence the screen name.
No True Vintage Sled at the moment.

I just steal one of toocheaptosmokes vintage sleds when he is working on one of his crazy projects.

That's what I thought. The one I have is pinkish-purple.
