Sorry for not posting for a while. Work, Covid BS, fishing, yada-yada-yada..

So this spring I took it down to the tub and realized that it needed aluminum repairs beyond my capabilities. So I've dropped it off to Leon Koch up the road from me. He's backed up because of covid as well. All the same, I'm in no hurry.

I need to take the engine down further. Got the stator off (thanks Simonar's in Luxemburg, WI).   Need to get one coil and all bearings / seals.

Intending to take the aluminum bits to be extrude honed. Was hoping to drop them off during Hay Days but that idea hit the dirt. Will have to just grin and make the run up and back.

Hope that you are all well out there, winter is around the corner!

Tub is back from Leon.  First rate work!  Getting the skis broken down and then the tub, skis and other bits are off to Lee Provachek for powder coating.

Tub, skis, exhaust and misc parts back from being cleaned and powder coated by PFS in Luxemburg, WI.  Lee did an awesome job!

Special high temp paint made for headers.  Wasnít the same material as on the tub. Good question though!

Now I know where to go if I ever take my 797 back to the stock look.  Absolutely loved grass racing it.  People either loved the fact I was racing it, or bitched at me for doing

Thanks!  Nothing quite like the sound of that big Rotax triple.  😎
