Thank you Chris R and Brokenleg , Trying to do a good job but not over restored.
This week I am taking the skid parts over to get powdered coated and install the track.

The NOS track is installed. Have picked up my skid parts from the powder coaters and started skid re assembly  . I am off to Nevada with boxes of smalls to have replated. As soon as I return I will be able to reassemble the skid , engine and install in the sled .
Hope to have this build done by end of the year. Will have pics posted when I return.

    Vic,
Could you let me know who you use in NV to do the plating.  I can't find anyone around MN who is willing to do 20 pound lots.  And if they do, the lot charge tripled and they screw them up anyway.

I dropped off my throttle assembly at the powder coaters. Will media blast the carbs and install these parts. Will get some updated pics when I get a chance. Currently out of town on business. Then it is back to the hood which I have found out that the repop I had bought is going to need some glass work to fit correctly.

Well here is the latest pic of my current project. I am in needs of a driven / secondary clutch for this sled. I thought that I had one but the wrong year.
I am currently restoring the clutch guard. Trying to have this sled wrapped up by March 8th where it will be reuniting with the original owner.
I am also working on the hood , radiator shroud and skis . Everything else is done  waiting to be installed even the decals.
This is coming along real well.

Thank you Kingsville Doo Nut .   Plan on firing it up this next winter. Still need correct ramps  for the drive clutch.
     On to my next sled.

ski-doood   Thank you . yes I am pleased how this turned out as expected of all my restorations. GHenery  you are correct , these pipes are Decker pipes. This sled was bought new by a friend of mine and that season he had replaced the stock pipes with Deckers.

Holy moly, that's beautiful!  Is that the stock left handlebar bend for that sled?
