Thanks! I have confirmed its a Comet 340SS. Not sure if its the 72 or 73. "C" chassis. It runs nice, fun to ride. Somebody was a little rough on it. Its missing a piece of the chain case so it doesn't hold oil. I'm gonna try to make a cover for it so it will hold the oil in. Also am using an old Skidoo seat. Need to get the lights working on it as well.

I've had a couple of them over the years. Never a Comet, but I've had a Rebel. On that one I want to say it was the same case as a '70-'71 Chaparral? Pretty sure it wasn't an Apex case.
