Two years, almost hard to believe, feel like I spoke with him last week.

Paul always treated me so well, and with respect. For that I will always be grateful.

Few have loved this old snowmobile hobby any more than CP did, and a big hole was left when he departed this earth. RIP, buddy.
anyone can run a new sled; it takes some dedication to ride crap!

Nice comments !  Thanks Zuk !

He really, REALLY was one of a kind !

I dont think I ever met a more accepting and enthusiastic vintage sledder....... EVER !   ;D

I find myself trying to honor his ways as time goes on.  But honestly, I will never amount to but a small example of what Paul was !

Godspeed CP, and may all your trails be smooth and white !    ;)

Kinda sad Zuk was the most recent comment in this thread now that he has passed away.

Yesterday was the 3 year anniversary of Cruelpaul's passing.

I spent the day out riding alone.  I thought about all the crazy and fun times I had with Paul.  I think about him all the time when I see old sleds.

That time has really gone by fast. I hope the best for his family and hope his sons continue on with sledding.

Tomorrow it will have been 4 years since Cruelpaul passed away at 46.

He would have been 50 now.

Seems crazy thats all he would have been, considering how old some of us are now.   :-\

I still mis CP alot.  I find myself in whacky vintage sled dillema's and just pause and think back to the good old days of Paul at his best........

The term "FFF" comes to mind.   Another classic said loudly was  " JUST MAKE IT HAPPEN !!!!! "

I sure miss the dude alot !  He really was what the hobby was all about for alot of us back in the heyday peak of the hobby.

    Yes, I did !   8)

I knew of it as the build was nearing completion.  I was sworn to secrecy by CP not to say a word to anybody till he had it out in the open at events.

He wanted to see the reaction from all the Cat geeks.  He knew it would be a point of confusion and many a good arguement would arise !   ;D

    Classic Cruelpaul !    ;)

Just wanted to let all of you guys know that I find my self thinking about him and reading through these comments and looking at these pictures pretty often. I wish he could see who I have grown up to be.  I'm sure he would bust my balls about something.  Probably yell at me for putting an eBay carb on my vw.  Or driving his pickup a little too fast..  I wear his class ring everyday no matter if I'm in a trench laying sewer pipe or welding.  And I proudly wear the crap badge on my chest.  Thanks guys.

I thought about CP yesterday when it started snowing,  then I thought of him today when I fired up the first BoaSki of the season.

It's good to hear from you Ben.
