The steering post was bent up & it looked like the steering arms were hitting the sides of the belly pan so someone welded these stoppers onto the bulkhead

Sanded painted skid new rubber bumpers & harrow spring bushings, found some used idler wheels at sno world, sliders were in good shape, 2 different turnbuckles on this skid ??? Quite a bit longer than the 1970 puma skid. Also picked up some spindles at Sno World with shock mounts. The skis were painted grey so sanded a bit & did them black, new ski rods, rubber bumpers & saddles. Had extra ski shocks on the shelf. Had a set of handlebars to put on it. Changed broken motor mounts, used 2 ski doo 1 yamaha ET & 2 originals. 1970 was a good year at Arctic Cat!!!!

Hey SCM ya got the clutch cleaned up nicely doesn't look like many miles on it Thank You very much ! Picked up a 25-30mm adapter so it fits onto the sachs 340ss like it was meant to be there. Guess find out about calibration once I get this thing going. I finally have an app't with Dubberly at Pan Am clinic May 20 so want to get done as much as I can on the panther in case I end up in a cast soon  :( Thanks for coming riding maybe we meet at Togo vintage ride next year ?
