The SA290 Sachs single in my 70 Rupp Sprint 29,had the exhaust fastened to the engine,ran a pipe,NO flex tubing. When adjusting drive belt,no worries about exhaust,moved with engine. :o

    tested it tday...i can definitely report no loss of power as compared to stock muffler setup....I think its gonna work ...Braaaaap!!!!!

    6 inches more snow yesterday....took the 340 sachs ss panther out for another rip.....i really like the power that muffler setup is making....think problem may be solved.....Braaaaap!!!!!

    Nice one SCM :o......I get that sinking feeling when I think about that ride across Good Spirit Lake you had that day.....but now I see where you went wrong....you weren't wearing proper riding gear like that guy !!!!

    I have been riding this panther for a few years now but have been having trouble with the HD27A Tilly...... first ride each winter have to tap the carb lightly to break it loose to pull fuel......last year ta tap no go so pulled the carb apart changed ball valve.....still no go so swapped out the HD27a for a HD147a..... installed a new mikuni external pump to the carb and Braaappp!!!!
