I haven't got one of those here in my collection. I suspect it is not an Indak switch , more than likely an early Briggs and Stratton switch. It looks like it is set up only for MAG ignition. I don't see anything in my current auto parts / lawn and garden catalogs that would be an exact replacement.

Milt, I think I got switches like that. They are new, but no nut. I'll look.

yesterday i loaded the parts and pieces of the Larson and delivered them to the painter!   bright sunny day for an 80 mile drive to Roseau MN, the home of the mother company of the original manufacturer of the 68 Larson. it was actually built at the Beausejoir plant of POLARIS INDUSTRIES!

it all started to come together about a month ago when a good friend, Randy Larson gave me a call.  his offer was to supply the paint as his personal contribution, and mentioned that it would be only fitting that POLARIS do any fab work, repairs and painting of the Larson!   HOW COOL IS THAT!    8)    ;D   POLARIS INDUSTRIES is a supporter of MAKE-A WISH foundation, our designated charity of this build.

upon arrival i was greeted by Randy, to look over the project.....

of course, this sparked the interest of some of his co-workers of the fab shop!  here's Aaron Johnson aka ajjohns looking over the repairs that he will be making to the damaged chain-case....  the powerhouse 297 JLO musta snapped a chain in it's early lifetime....

next i was introduced to Cory Wympfheimer, who will be the "paint man" on the project. he was amazed at the almost flawless condition of the chassis, and said this shud be a "piece of cake"!

next out was Steve Solom, who will be the man in charge of the cleanup, sand blasting, and prep work before it goes into Cory's paint booth.

from left to right, Randy Larson, yours truly, Aaron Johnson, Steve Solom, Cory Wympfheimer.

a big THANK YOU to Randy and his crew and POLARIS INDUSTRIES!     ;D
