73 Speedway progress.

Yeah,,now $350 worth of wheels and drivers and j can finish this puppy up..got a rebuilt 440.skis are done,gotta rebuild the clutch and rivet on cleats..anyone know where to get replacement cleats? Got some missing and fractured ones..need about 10.

What did you mean "skis are done"? What did you do to them? I think the skis on my Speedway may be too far gone and not sure what ski makes a suitable replacement.

i just blasted them,primed and painted them with Aluminum Rustoleum.. i know its tough finding good ones.. wasnt going to pay the long dollar for re-chroming..I used new Polaris ski shocks..i just drilled the bushings out to 7/16 so they would fit..ill dig them out and throw a couple pics on later..I did manage to come up with 26 new cleats.. Just gotta keep picking away..

I had them laying around,,they were for USI skis that I didn't have.. So,,repurposed! The skis had already been drilled for a couple different sets of bars..

got the remaining cleats installed..time to get the box o skid parts blasted and painted and get 5 wheels re-lined..found a new Ski Doo skid shock that fits for 10 bucks!
