Your Speedway looks Great!! Like to see an other picture of your hood. Was it much work or pretty good to begin with??

Nice work, I think that the Speedway is one great looking sled. I have a couple lined up top restore myself.

the hood wasnt all bad..it was busted up a little by the handlebar post hole like most..i repaired it and just sprayed the top black satin..im going to stripe it to match the black on the scoop so it looks like it was meant to be that way..i will try to get some pics on..sometimes it takes a dozen tries to get pics to post..i want to try my hand at painting the metalflake..i have been messing with it,,doesnt seem to be that bad to spray and make look pretty.i have a few hoods to try it out on..

That's brilliant! I never thought of painting the top black and it wouldn't take much to to make it look like it's suppose to be that way ..it should look good and match with the black on the cowl.

I think the hood looks good with the black on it and with the extra air scoop as well. It's nicely done.
I guess owners modified the hoods in several ways for more air flow. I've seen lots and yours looks great.

well,,its been sitting in the attic for awhile..time to dig this dude out and get back to work.. anyone got and idea of a suitable replacement for the skid idler wheels,,or is it just easier to have them relined? used Kawi Invader wheels for the front wheels by the drivers..turned out slick..who knows, may even get to drag race it on the ice this winter! ;D
