Thanks for posting over here on Paul's passing, Don. I doubt I'd have as much involvement in this hobby it it weren't for him and he always treated me well. Condolences to his family and vast number of friends in the vintage community who will mourn the loss of a man, who like myself, sometimes struggled in life.

anyone can run a new sled; it takes some dedication to ride crap!

Thanks for posting this Don, Jesse text me lastnight about this. So very sad to hear. I cannot remember when I got to meet Paul, it was probably at Waconia many moons ago. I even had the "crap badge" not only on my jacket, but also on my TX because of Paul  8)

He was a one of kind guy for sure! Always good for a laugh, and just to BS with. He had even came to the Garage Get Together a couple times with B_Mod, as my shop is always open to anyone & everyone.

Always easy to spot him...he always wore the black shades, and the animal on his head everywhere I saw him!

Thoughts and prayers out to his family, and friends. I am very sorry to hear of him passing.

    Godspeed CP   :'(

Don   Thanks for posting !!  I too first met him at Waconia along time ago with the signature hat black coat and glasses 😎   Great guy and great for the vintage sled community. My son got to meet him at Princeton this year for the first time and them two were buds from the beginning.  CP gave him a vintage$ledders hat too. Ben even was there and they were giving each other a bad time too.
Rest in peace CP you will be missed !!   Dale and Micah

gone too soon. I first met Paul at A1 in 2010, he made me feel welcome, and introduced me to many of you. We kept in touch a bit over the years, but I find myself wishing it had been more. I hope you find peace now, Paul, I wish there was more we all could have done for you.

Ben, please know your father was well liked & respected by so many, and that we are here for you. My condolences to you & your family in this sorrowful time. He will always be in your heart.

My condolances to Ben & the rest of the family. I met cp,back in 2008 or so,right when I started out in  vintage sleds. We hit it off, right from the start. He was always willing to help, whether is was advice or tech help. He was one of a kind. He will be missed by all who knew him. I'm still in shock. RIP Paul.

CP, you were a-one-of-a-kind.  You will be truly missed.  The Vintage and Antique people thank you for what you did for our sport.  Ben, your dad was a special person.  He always was thinking of your family.  Hopefully, you and Josh can still make it to some of the events.   RIP Paul.

Paul always will hold a special place in our family. He was there when we came out to LOS in 2008 and was beyond kind. There is still a picture floating around of he and my mom, my mom wearing his hat of course. We lost touch, regrettably, but he will always be a part of me.

Thanks Paul! It took along time for the "C" for crap to wear off the back of a junk boat I had. God Speed!
