Hey Crash I was there in 94 /95 also, my guy crashed just out of gran marias. We were running pretty good to, got caught up in a 3 sled tangle and hooked a ski on a little tree and took out the front end. I was a crew member we were running a xcr. Good times.

Awesome, back when snowmobiling was about snowmobiling, taking abuse, wrenching on the trail, ect. Not like today, where you ride a replica of a bug with a track and skis with 50 feet of suspension.

Hey Hoops! Yeah that second day was brutal. I was feeling great when we left that school yard at the start and making tons of time and passing a bunch of sleds. Must of been going "to good", blew a corner and got stuck for 40 minutes. Ruined my placement. Did finish the race and got my $1000.00 bucks from Skidoo Though!!

I totally agree! Today's sleds can make you fly like superman. Back then you needed a strong Back!!!

I remember Hibbert parked on the side of the long straightaway! Hood was up and i new his day was done. I placed 149 so ya kicked my butt DK48! If i could go back in time i would of chose the XCR also, they had a good 10 miles an hour on our skidoos!

    I have 3 of the 94 MXZX's.

One has a 670 in it now.  I still have the original 470 also.

2 have SC10's in them.   One is completely original even the ski's.

Very cool sleds.  That 470 cranks pretty nice and is a lot different engine than the std 470, but you must run good fuel in them.  We took out a piston running pump fuel when we needed a back up trail sled.

That's why the 670 went in, I didn't want to have anything else happen to the original 470.

Hey Ddub! I still have the original 462 cylinders when we received the sled. Those X kits we got to change from standard mxz to mxzx did wake that sled up! Those x cylinders have to be hard to find now i believe. Would you want to part with that  original???? :D

Well, I finally found one. Pick it up in a few weeks. Hopefully she's in as good of shape as the picture shows.
