Hood needs some attention!

The flanges are at the shop having the bigger exhaust ports replacing the smaller 634 ones.

I picked up red flashing spark plug caps at St. Ignace as well as a 70 blue BM windshield.

I got Allen head stainless 10mm bolts at Ace Hardware for the flanges that are coming.

I picked up a tractor implement paint for the hood.

I am swapping in another tank that is pretty decent, a seat that is acceptable and original, some chrome EXT body supports, a nice rear bumper, check and see if I have an EXT snowflap, replace the hood channels, put SS bolts in the windshield, need a NOS dropcase gasket maybe some Hi-fax.

Find a decent toolbox, door, gray plastic knob, and the best Puma lens I have....most likely the 72 will be the donor

Picked up some parts at the yard to use...

1973 Cheetah drive train chaincase cover-has the "flying A", rubber gasket, same holes and an inspection plug

I added a black tether (have a red one too...see what looks best at the end)

I got my check back from Frank in Idaho for the black script, will check my mail and the address I had.

Starting cutting the truss bolts/nuts (123-145) on the rear bumper, slotted heads on the inside just don't cut it...no pun intended.

Fiberglassed all but one spot on the hood, need a clamp for the front crack.

Picked this flap up, it does look sweet



Took off the right footrest (106-090) and cleaned the pile of crud under it.

Found my Kelsey-Hayes brake handle/reservoir and cable-need the brake unit yet.

fiberglassing on hood is done or very close

got the black "Arctic Cat" script for the front

found some nice paint if i did not mention that

ordered the red NGK plug wires-dang those aren't cheap

got more stainless screws and got some nice rubber nuts for the back and some chrome bolt head covers, next time at Ace, taking in my cover wing nuts and getting stainless

Building new house....grrrrrrrr

in way of resurrection but now have a workroom in the heated basement 

Taking a 71 Puma chassis down to replace the 634 one, swap in the jackshaft...and do the hood next.

That brake caliper looks like the K-H brake that was used on racing karts years ago.  Maybe search the vintage kart sites?  I've got an idea you'll turn one up there.
