Tilli Carb question

i have a few old carbs with what i have been told are called grose jets they replace the needle valve ther some sort of little plastic ball. My question is can you still get them the ones i have seem to work better than the new needles that you get these days

    They've been discontinued, but you cn find them on classifieds and ebay every once in a while. Some guys really like them, and others don't. I personally prefer the oem Tillotson rubber tipped needle and seats and can still be had for hl hr and hd from www.eccarburetors.com in TN. I was told the grose jets never go bad so don't toss them if you like the way they work. I do think they require a slightly higher pop off pressure than a standard needle and seat to make sure they seal properly.
