Thanks, the paint is called John deere Sabre Green, i found a quart of it on Fleabay for $9  but the price tag on the can said $2 so its a very old can of paint, not sure if they still make it, i think its a tractor color.  Sulley

The Sabre green may be for the Sabre (less expensive) line of lawn mowers John Deere tried a few years back.

Nice job Sulley !!  I stopped by his house a couple days ago and it looks great, the pics don't do it justice, definitely a sled that
     Sulley used his special wax.

Wow, what a nice grandfather to get a sled like that for his grandson.  I think that was very nice of you!  Sorry I replied so late, I'm new here and going through all topics like this.

It was all worth it, seeing my grandson ride, at this time last year i was very sick and couldnt let him ride it, it was worth the wait, i made a throttle stop for it, just a little to fast for him and me  lachen01 lachen01 lachen01  Sulley

Sulley.........I have ridden with you my whole life, on bikes, boats, sleds, and in cars. If anyone needs the throttle stop it's you! Well ok, and maybe me!
