skiroule RTX racer rotax powered
« on: June 27, 2009, 02:55:16 pm »
After turning down countless requests to sell me a free air sachs or hirth honker, and being to embarrassed to ask again, I have decided one sled will get a modified 340 tnt single motor. I will need a cast housing to hold the recoil, like a blizzard single, and a wider clutch for the big skiroule belt. My main concern is the head fins facing the wrong way. The sled will not be modified in any way, able to accept a single sachs if aquired. The other racer will hopefully get one of those beautifull 340 sachs singles, I may have one lead.

Those yamahas are too good. I need to keep its motor origin from Austria and area, bad enough the wrong motor is going in there.Yes, I would like to join the Hole in the Hood gang!

Someone makes a repro blizzard single mag. housing.  Check out the oldski-doo sleds site.  He advertises on there a little.  Are you doing any mods to the engine?

I was planning on raising and widening the exaust port, and trimming the intake skirt. Just a bit more duration with a slight increase in port size. I may not even doo it as the Skiroule expert has decided to sell me a big sachs single..
