My friends 340 was $3,300.00 new in the crate. trying to get my hands on it from the second owner.
 Vic

$3,200 to $3,300 would have been my guess.   I just looked at a Dealer invoice on SSRs the other day,and dealer coast was $2,900.

Enjoy that great vintage ride!

I also had it confirmed that thos really is Bobby Donahues 340. One of the sleds that the ski-doo team left for the swedish racers in -78.

Do you have any idea how much the racers paid for these sleds back in'78?
78 250 ss dealer cost in Ontario was $2650. Canadian, fall of 77.

Your sled couldn't get any better, my favorite looking Ski Doo ever, raced by a famous driver, awesome restoration and best of all you are doing what they were built for riding it.

    Thank you Puma!
I agree, you should use them for what they were built for, no one will be happy if you put it in storage  ;)
