PVR Manawa Snodeo Race Feb. 27th *CANCELLED*

I just want to give you all a heads up that the Manawa race is not looking good for this weekend. Unfortunately the ice has 3-4 inches of bad ice (crystallized), and to remove it would cause a large drain area for Saturday when the weather warms up.

We also have lost about 80% of our land parking area for our trailers. I will only have room for about 25 to 30 large trailers in the parking lot, which is now blacktop. Lake parking is an option, but I don't know how many of our racers would be comfortable with that, after the resent weather and temp changes.

I would love to say that we are good to go, but at this point, I don't feel good about it. Definitely no Sunday racing at Manawa, and doubtful for Saturday also.

This group has worked so hard to try to give us a place to race, but Mother nature is just not cooperating at all.

Sorry to have to give you all bad news, but I want to alert you in advance. Final decision will be Thursday morning, but I am 90% no run.

Update to Dean's post, it has now been confirmed the race is CANCELLED for Saturday the 27th. This Snodeo group has done a great job to try to put this on, but in the end the weather just did not work out.

We had our stuff ready ...... and had some new stuff we were gonna test.  We were hoping for one last race.

Can't help what mother nature dealt out for weather .............

Probably be testing somewhere this weekend just to see how our stuff responds.

Sorry to hear about your race track troubles.

I would like to invite you all to the 2/27/16 BEVRA race here in Michigan.
If the race track holds up well , we plan to race a make up date 3/5/16
Yes it's a bit of a drive ,but better than sitting in front of the TV.

thanks for the invite,it looks like fun.

For me 15 mins after the race was called the stock car was on moved  to the hoist,   sled parts were being stored away.
 Its car  racing season .        We took a 15 min break.
