R track in a trail twister?
« on: February 21, 2016, 07:20:35 pm »
Hello, is it possible to run a "R" track in a trail twister with out the studs hitting? Already have the 1 tooth smaller drivers in and doesn't like it would have enough room. Also anyone running a Polaris or different rear suspension in a twister? Thanks.

Most guys use the 8 tooth wheels , and 116" R track with no trouble.
You should run a tunnel protecter , over the track clips or one down the center of the tunnel.

Thanks for the info everyone. Fortytwo, do you have problems with the taller clips hitting the rear suspension top arm? Thanks.

Rubs on one of the spacer bushings when running rough tracks a bit but we keep an eye on it, replaced the spacer bushing this year was wore through close to the bolt but nothing a little preventive maintenance won't fix  ;D . only thing you gotta worry about was I think the 116" R track is just a hair longer we had to move suspension back an inch or so to get tight and still have room for track adjustments.
