To help us all “Think Winter”, our good friend Valdi Stefanson sent in this racy picture.
This is the first year (1969) Roll-o-Flex made in Saskatchewan, Canada. A WILD ONE. This machine is a period correct privateer racer.
The race rules had an “HR” Tillotson carburetor rule but the enterprising racer noted that it didn’t mention how many HR carbs… Presto, an aluminum dual carb manifold and some scary throttle cable gyrations and we are a bit over-fueled for that poor 300cc single Hirth. Also, on the exit side there is an early tuned pipe.
This sled is a piece of history! And it makes noise at the vintage rides. Totally fun.
IS it winter yet?
