Six years in the making, Arli-Dazzle has grown to be known as “Probably the Largest Lighted Christmas Parade in Minnesota” and this year the Arlington Area Chamber of Commerce plans to keep that title on Saturday, Dec. 6.
A daylong event, Arli-Dazzle begins with a morning tradition of Santa Day, where area children share conversations with Santa and Mrs. Claus while partaking in many activities and crafts. Main Street bustles with activities including the Arlington Fire Department as it hosts the 3nd annual Black Top Fishing Derby, horse and wagon rides and the Schell’s Hobo Band. The Arlington Grey’s will play the Mankato Baltic’s in a competitive but friendly snowball baseball game. Santa’s reindeer will visit before the parade and this year we will once again be deligted with the addition of a Vintage Snowmobile Show. Before you partake in all the yummy foods from local restaurants and food vendors, you may want to join in the 2nd annual “Dash Through the Snow” 5K.
Find your spot on Main Street to watch the LARGEST Lighted Christmas Parade, which begins at 5:30 p.m! Arli-Dazzle is about all of us uniting in the Spirit of Christmas for one special day. Arlington just happens to be the venue. You will feel as if you have stepped into a real life Hallmark Christmas Movie. There is no parade entry fee and the Chamber welcomes any business or organization to plug-in their float and join the parade.
Please contact Kim Schneider at After Burner Auto Body at 507-964-2809 with any questions, to register for the parade. Please click “Like” on Facebook and be kept informed of new updates.
