What web site were they from? There is a number of reason that a pic can disappear from a host.

First, if you were hotlinking the image directly from another website (clicking properties, and coping the URL into this board) the webwaster of the site where that the pic was on could have moved/deleted it. Sometimes a webmaster will do this intentionally, if they see that the pic is being loaded from other sites, as it eats up their bandwidth.

Also, if the pic was loaded on a picture sharing site, like Photobucket, it can be deleted by the host, if the picture contain questionable material. The pics will also expire off of some of the sites like Image Shack, but this doesn't happen in two days.

I don't know if it is your case, but another thing that I have encountered, is that my computers at work have some pretty aggressive filters, and will not allow most pics to come through.

taking my pictures off Picasa web albums I had 2 pics posted off their site no problems with the one, the picture that keeps dissapearing is a cylinder and head. I'm going to post it here and see what happens. Kevin

Hmm.. Before this, I hadn't heard of Picasa web albums. Not really sure how that site runs, but it seems like it's different from the majority of the other album sites, because when I went to the Picasa web site, they wanted me to download some software for it to work. Might be something I'll have to play around with later, and see what it's all about
