Speaking of lack of color...
« on: February 22, 2017, 04:52:08 pm »
So I was chatting with a co worker/buddy the other day and came upon the question being he is black.

Has there ever been a famous/well known black snowmobile racer?

Not that I can ever remember. Have him buy my 340, and he can make history

He wants a little more HP, he might try a sled and see if he likes it. If he does he wants a 600.

Interesting. I do not recall any MX or Enduro racers back in the day either.

Andy Jefferson was probably the first back in the early 80's. He was sponsored by Pro Circuit before Husky signed him for a couple of years.

Well if the sled in front of em doesn't measure their sleds width he'll be OK.

Yes , Willie   Conklin , drag raced Polaris Pro Stk's.
He was sponsored by a Gentleman's club and threw same nice parties at Hay Days events.
If you were pitted next to Willie for the weekend and planed on camping you better not plan on much sleep.
