    It's back up and running.
    Question about something I noticed. As far as I know this is original engine in the 1991 500 SKS liquid cooled sled. That would male it a EC50PL engine according to the repair manual and the engine tag. On the same engine case half is this casting number-EC40PL.
    What's up with that??
    I'm not sure where that came from.....

    400-500 cases are the same. Just a casting.
    (2) 70 starcraft snow star 290's
    (2) Running competition 340's
    340 escort with a 290ss
    (2) parts comp 340's
    (2) Parts snowstar
    (1) basket 290 eliminator
    98 XC700
    67 Polaris mustang project
    And a bunch of other 90's polaris's

    Yes, I know the cases are the same, just wondered why they would be numbered differently and then used at random.
    I'm not sure where that came from.....

    IDK, I have 400 and 500 cases that say 400. Why change the case casting just to put different jugs on it? Kinda like a ford 390 block has "352" stamped in it.
