Yeah, I like open face helmets. Mine was new about 12 years ago and first used this winter. I purchased it for a moped I later sold to a friend. I have had the visor since I was teenager. I wear sunglasses and take my goggles just in case. It just doesn't look right wearing a modern helmet on a vintage sled.
I did some research on carbs, bogging and clutching. My belt was way to loose. I installed a different belt from my belt pile. One that was little shorter and wider. What a difference. The sled finally feels like an Enticer now. The bog is 90 percent gone and the sled has ridiculous pick up now, throughout the entire throttle range. I am thinking I still need to adjust/wind the spring in the driven clutch. There is still some air in the fuel line but it does not seem to be affecting the engine.
I did all this yesterday because it was supposed to snow last night, and it did ! Just an inch or two near home, but by the time I was approaching Groundhog Lake this morning, I was cruising in 6 to 8 inches of powder, and it is still snowing. It actually started to get a little stormy for a bit, then the sun came out, and now it is snowing again. I am going out again tomorrow morning. I took pictures but my computer is getting fixed and I am using a borrowed tablet.
