An old cabin near a mine site, and a truck with some cool sign writing on the doors. Looks kinda like an International.

       The trail ahead and behind.

It was nice for really cruising fast but because it had not been groomed in a while, combined with the spring melt, there were deep depressions and wet spots from creeks and springs that had to be watched for.

Cruising along an then " BRAAAAAP!!!!!!!"  Cracked expansion chamber where the pipe exits. I managed to cobble it up with some aluminum wire and an exhaust spring. Worked great. Once the spring pressure pulled everything back together you could hardly notice the leak. There needs to be a support welded on somewhere to tie everything together.

I still had about 13 km to go, so I was praying that the repair would last till I got home, and it did.

Cobble cobble! Whatever ya had to do to get it home.

I also roll with an open face helmet, always wear eye protection or use a shield of sorts.  Riding the trails around the home place there's sticks to be had in the face, and even if it is warm and I don't "need" the shield, I find my contacts dry out really bad without some sort of goggles etc.
I scatter them from the midwest to south of the Mason Dixon

Yeah, I like open face helmets. Mine was new about 12 years ago and first used this winter. I purchased it for a moped I later sold to a friend. I have had the visor since I was teenager.  I wear sunglasses and take my goggles just in case. It just doesn't look right wearing a modern helmet on a vintage sled.

I did some research on carbs, bogging and clutching. My belt was way to loose. I installed a different belt from my belt pile. One that was little shorter and wider. What a difference. The sled finally feels like an Enticer now. The bog is 90 percent gone and the sled has ridiculous pick up now, throughout the entire throttle range. I am thinking I still need to adjust/wind the spring in the driven clutch. There is still some air in the fuel line but it does not seem to be affecting the engine.

I did all this yesterday because it was supposed to snow last night, and it did ! Just an inch or two near home, but by the time I was approaching Groundhog Lake this morning, I was cruising in 6 to 8 inches of powder, and it is still snowing. It actually started to get a little stormy for a bit, then the sun came out, and now it is snowing again. I am going out again tomorrow morning. I took pictures but my computer is getting fixed and I am using a borrowed tablet.

One more from Saturday. I like this one a lot. The snow was actually little mini snow balls that really hurt on the face if you went too fast.

The gas station was closed today so my neighbor gave my the 10 liters on the rear of his sled. What a guy. He also gave my his Aaen clutch tuning manual to look over. The belt I am now using is still a tiny bit narrower than an Enticer belt. Like an 1/8th of an inch. I'll have to get a proper Enticer belt.

This picture is from today, Sunday. Only took one because I was having too much fun to stop for long. Did some playing around at Groundhog. Chatted with a couple of sledders at the cabin. Mostly sunny today, but it froze up good last night.

I've been thinking about putting the Enticer chaincase into the Olympic. Going to do some research and dig out the Enticer to have a look. This may also lead to other mods of course.
