Awesome place to live.  8)

Growing up in the great frozen north of MN I lived half way between the "big town" of 350 and the small town of 150 or so. The small town had a big hay field adjacent and the owners of the farm gave permission, and I think the kids in that town were allowed to ride in that field, about ten acres pancaked flat!

Looks better with the crappy wind shield. At least my hands will be warmer.  I think I'll replace it with a tall clear one eventually. Also thinking about installing the front and rear chrome bumpers and the headlight. And my leafs springs feel like marshmallow. Gotta deal with that.

Fab some sort of an actual grab handle on front, those 68-70 front bumpers were more like a chrome strip with two finger slots in front, had to lift with no gloves and they about cut your hands! Sort of like the "hand cutter" grab holes in the '68-70 Skis!

A '67 bumper is my favorite design.  Would re quire some welding, but that's a walk in the park if you can build pipes like you do.

       Thanks Eric,and nice Doo!
I totally agree. What were they thinking when they switched to those skis and bumper in '68. Idiots. It's a nice looking bumper though.  I'm actually on the hunt for a '67 bumper for a Ralph Plaisted replica sled I'm slowly putting together. He also changed the '68 skis to '67's.
Maybe for this sled I'll try making my own version of one of those classic Olympic bush bumpers. I've always liked those. Just make sure there's enough room for my hands.
