Was that on Dollar lake?

yes - it was the 50th anniversary of the first race on dollar lake. the ascoa did a re-creation of the first one by having the same type of events that they had 50 yrs. ago. a great time was had by all who attended!

Nice pictures!! I wish I would of went.  One question though, I thought the first Eagle River race was in February of 1964, and this being 2013 that would make this years event the 49th anniversary wouldn't it? If you were married in Feb. of 1964 your 50th would be in 2014. Just wondering.

       youre not adding right. if 1964 is #1, then 1973 would have been #10. then add 40.
