THAT MILLER KID!!

Brent was looking to have a very rockin' weekend at Eagle River but a bad accident sent him for a ride in the white truck. He's not likely feeling too well today... so here's all the decent photos I got of him this weekend.. wish there was more buddy! Hopefully some other people got some good shots!

Really thinking about you on the way home.. hope to see up and kicking some @$$ with that leg really soon!

Thanks for the words Larry, still in ICU at Howard young in minoqua. Had a 4 hour surgery last night to repair a very bad wound from a carbide. Doctor said it will take 6 months to get almost back to normal. Lots of tendons and muscle damage. Just a bad deal of being in the wrong place at the wrong time but thats racing! On the bright side I should be well rested for next year!

Based on the goody bag full of candy bars, beef jerky, mountain dew, etc., in six months he'll have to go on a diet and training program.  Got to see a really nice picture taken by Brad.  Miller isn't white meat....   ;)

Oh, by the way, he's already getting a start on his rehab.  There is a list of exercises up on the board in his room.  You'll have to ask him about #3...

get well soon! Not to probe tender subjects, but what accident involves a carbide and a white truck? Did you get taken on a magic carpet ride with a sticky throttle? its happened to me. rest easy brother- #72X

I spoke with Miller last night and I'll give you a recap. Severe laceration to the lower leg. He was transfered to Rhinelander for a four hour operation to deal with vascular, muscle and tendon repairs. He currently has a drain tube installed to deal with the infection but will be discharged today (Tuesday). He will need additional surgery on the tendons but will miss 5-6 months of work. His tendon damage will heal to give him 95% recovery of the effected area, his spirits were high but he's disappointed in having to miss the rest of the race season. Our thoughts and prayers are with him.

Hey guys I'm in minoqua at Howard young..been doing some physical therapy today sounds like I'm going to be here till tomorrow. It's going to be a long road. Sounds like I will need another surgery maybe next week. Thanks everyone
