Waconia Make A Wish Scorpion Stinger Build!

Good questions Tom - I think we should ask John Z.  Are we ready to go with Make-A-Wish?

Before more questions get generated on this, the Scorpion part of the auction is all set up with Make-A-Wish.  Dan and I spoke tonight and he has everything to setup the Brut stuff with them as well.  There will be a representative from Make-A-Wish present at the event.

But, we need an auctioneer for both sleds.  Is there anyone out there who is an auctioneer and would be comfortable performing the auction for both sleds at Waconia ?  If so, please contact myself or Jack (see previous post for contact info).  It would be great if we had a member of the vintage community who could do this.

The build is on for this Saturday at Tom Petersons place in Star Prarie.  Looks like anytime after 8 is fine with Tom, so my guess is we'll get rockin' around 9.  I need to get Tom's address, once I have that, I will post it.

Test fitted some of the components today. Everything is looking good. We'll see everybody tomorrow.

Scorpion build went GREAT today! Very talented and hard working group. These guys are the best scorpion guys around. This sled is stunning! There were a lot of photos taken and i'm sure will be posted soon. Thanks again to everyone. This scorpion stinger restoration will raise the bar for all future builds !
