I do like that he's making a new mold to make the top of what looks like an RXL hood match up to the existing pan - that will be a lot cheaper! However, it will not look much like an RXL that way, I don't think. Will be interesting to see one completed. Great Idea - I applaud the effort!@

That is a cool idea!!    Would convert a indy to one of those for sure if he does start making the kits.

I understand the "I want to see a finished hood etc".  I received a few e-mails from Phil the guy behind this project. I told him I think producing a hood in Polaris midnight blue would be the most desireable, even with the fact that most Indy's would have a black belly pan.  Please post if you agree with that. How many are seriously interested in this kit?

Yep ..Blue hood and maybe at a later date a fiber glass pan to replace the plastic one also in blue.

it will be nice to ride on the trail as opposed to a real rxl with the open belly pan, but as larry said wont be really fooling anyone that it is a rxl.
