I just got a Pol TX 440 engine, EC 44PT-04. Does anyone know what year this is? Also on the pto cyl the intake boot is different. It is tilted up and in toward the center. The boot on the mag side is short and straight. Is this normal? Also I need a stator and cdi for this engine if anyone has one. Thanks.

I have an EC44pt-05 engine I am parting- pretty sure the ignition is the same as -04. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.
jfn2, call me at 810-687-4355 Saturday if you're interested. It's cheap.

The -04 motor has non bridged intake ports and ran 38mm carbs, The -05 motor has bridged intake ports and smaller carbs.
