with all that packing material the piston should not have been damaged in transit. Shocked

Yep--a little bit of work on that engine--But you know that sometimes they look worse than they really are.  You will get it running again---.

run the hone thru them and tehy will clean up great, if you don't have one box um up and send them up i will run the hone thru them or the stone which ever they need

Ahhhh, it will be alright, just put it back together. Go to the local parts store and pick up a "Can of Compression" (it's right next to the muffler bearing grease at NAPA) and all will be good  grin'
