And what an opener it was in Beausejour, Manitoba this past weekend! Duncan Reid on his 78 Ski-doo had a very good couple of days, winning all 4 vintage IFS class races. Aaron Johnson, who did not get to race much at all last year due to a bad car accident was back with a vengeance, winning one, and taking a second in another with his 340 Starfire.
Jeff Steenerson also took one with his 73 440. I guess one could assume that Jeff Steenerson is Bruce Rosentredder’s competition eh? By Sunday, however, Bruce turned it around and won two classes, with Steenerson right behind him.
Craig Machart and Norm Chura split wins in the Relic Class on Saturday and Sunday.
In the late models, Terry Wahl won both Pro Champ 440 and Pro Formula 600. Shane Peterson won a couple in semi-pro.
Looks like a great year ahead! See all the results on the CPTC web site!
