Did you know the New Hampshire Annual Meet and Show this year will feature some of the legends of the sport of snowmobiling? I mention it because last year, I had the rare opportunity to go to the Roseau Frostbite Days celebration – and it was amazing. All the Polaris and Arctic Cat drivers (except Dimmerman and Elsner) from the BIG TIME era of racing, the founders and many more.
At this years NH show, you may well have one of your ONLY chances to meet David Johnson (coolest man alive – founder of Polaris, inventor of the Polaris snowmobile, and a truly gifted manager), VIntage Superstar Bud Knapp, Jerry Bassett of “American Snowmobiler”, some people from that little factory in Valcourt, (something we never get here in Minnesota!), and the legendary Edgar Hetten, Founder of Polaris and Arctic Cat!
Add all that in with a People’s Choice award – and an award given by the above legends to THEIR favorite sled at the show.. and you have the makings for a once in a lifetime amazing event. I wouldn’t miss it for the world if I lived on that side of the planet!
