Over the weekend Doc Jim and I visited the Snowmobile Hall of Fame in St. Germain, Wisconsin.
Yes, I braved driving through many hours of the land of cheese and beer just to look at some really cool old sleds.
I got pictures. Man, did I get pictures. They’ll be developed tomorrow. The curator, Loren Anderson spent many hours with us, explaining the sleds, discussing the Museum, showing us videos and even his private stash of collector sleds and memorabilia. The whole trip and the museum were fantastic! Loren is great asset to the museum, snowmobiling, snowmobile racing, and the vintage sled craze. If you haven’t been to the museum, make it a point to get there soon! It’s well worth the trip!
